May 22nd was actually my final ever trip to Christie Park as me and a Uni pal went to the “End of an Era” auction to see what crap we could buy from Christie Park as they were auctioning the whole lot of. The picture below shows exactly what I got, which was large weights, turnstile signs, a “Family Area” sign and un-used Torquay United shirt from their 2-0 home win over them in late March. All of this was bought for £11. Bargain. Also, the turf was being cut up and sold the day we were there and I took one last picture of CP. All the best. 2009/10 review coming soon.
